Latina Strong Golf Tournament

On Friday, March 27, 2026, Torgenson Law proudly supported the Latina Strong Golf Tournament, held at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club. The event brought together golfers, community members, and supporters of the Latina Strong Foundation to raise funds for education, scholarships, and health equity initiatives in underserved communities.
As the event’s Swag Bag Sponsor, Torgenson Law provided player gift bags for all golfers, which included custom tote bags and Caddy Splashes. Our team was honored to contribute to an event that uplifts women and families through access to resources, wellness programs, and educational opportunities.
The Latina Strong Foundation is a nonprofit founded in 2013 with a mission to unite women through health, wellness, and empowerment. The organization serves as a platform for educating Latinas and their families about physical and mental health through a supportive network of experts. Their work focuses on engaging Latino communities through grassroots events and program initiatives, collaborating with health professionals to provide culturally responsive education, and empowering women to live their healthiest lives. Latina Strong believes that better health begins at home and that women are powerful voices within their families and communities.
Our booth was at Hole 10, which featured an Olympic theme celebrating Dr. Regina Martínez Lorenzo, the first Mexican woman to compete in cross-country skiing at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games. We incorporated Olympic-inspired decorations, a themed display highlighting her journey, and a ring toss game that tied into the booth’s concept, an effort that earned us Best Themed Hole for the second year in a row. This focus on resilience and representation aligns closely with the Foundation’s mission and created an engaging experience for attendees.
The tournament began with early morning check-in before golfers headed out for an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start. Throughout the day, our team engaged with attendees at our booth, which offered snacks, refreshments, and a variety of giveaway items including towels, air fresheners, sanitizer, sunscreen, stickers, and ChapStick. Attendees could also win prizes through the Ring Toss game, such as Yeti cups, shirts, charcuterie boards, and hat boxes.
In addition to the booth competition, we participated in the event’s Best Dressed Team contest. Our staff wore custom Torgenson Law polos featuring the Mexican flag, securing Best Dressed Team for the second consecutive year. Attorneys John Torgenson and Ariana Byrd, along with employee Lindsay Aleman, played in the tournament. At the booth, Valerie Cochlin, Corina Alfaro, and Leah Stuart welcomed golfers, facilitated game participation, and distributed prizes.
Torgenson Law is grateful for the opportunity to support the Latina Strong Foundation and its mission to advance health, education, and opportunity for women in our community. We believe in showing up, giving back, and supporting organizations that are making a meaningful difference.
