John Torgenson grew up in Southern Utah as a minority, facing challenges that shaped his sense of fairness and his instinct to stand up for people who are being overlooked or pushed around. His journey from humble beginnings to Notre Dame Law School wasn’t easy, but it forged his determination to stand up for those who need an advocate. After working at Arizona’s oldest law firm, John realized his true calling was helping injured people rebuild their lives. “These cases are personal to me,” John often says. “I take it personally and treat clients as if they’re part of our family.” This isn’t just a tagline—it’s the foundation of how he built Torgenson Law from the ground up.

Judith Walkers’ son Hunter was killed when his vehicle was hit by a tractor-trailer whose driver had dropped his fast food drink. John visited the accident scene and salvage yard to collect personal belongings for the mother and later helped her pack up her son’s apartment.
