Torgenson Law Will Give You $500 If You Do This One Thing For Safety

April 30, 2019

As Arizona personal injury attorneys, keeping you and your family safe is what Torgenson Law is all about. Unfortunately, we usually meet good people after there is a failure of safety rules and we bring them into our family to make sure they get closure and compensation for their harms.  We are trying to change that. Child drownings in Arizona are nearly twice the national average, and although fatal child drownings in Arizona dropped by 16 percent in 2018 our mission is to further increase that percentage and continue to decrease the number of accidental drownings that so heavily impact our community.  WE WANT ZERO child drownings in Arizona this year (unfortunately, this goal was already defeated sadly earlier this month).

Almost 70 percent of drownings occur when your children are not supposed to be near water. Children between the ages of 1 and 4 are drowning nearly two times the national rate here in Arizona. Accidental drownings are the No. 1 cause of unintentional death in children 4 and younger, and that’s nationwide. Arizona falls in the top 5 states with the most unintentional child drownings.

Here at Torgenson Law, we pledge to continue our mission to make Arizona a safer place for everyone, especially those who are the most vulnerable. To continue our mission, Torgenson Law would like to provide a $500 rebate to anyone that is willing to build a pool fence in the month of May, 2019.  What do you have to do? Send us a copy of your invoice and proof of payment as well as tag us in a picture with the hashtag #TorgLawForPoolSafety. This offer is valid to the first 10 people that send us their invoices and proof of payment.

None of us are immune to these devastatingly life-changing statistics. Torgenson Law would like to reiterate the importance of adult and child guardians staying aware whenever children are in or near the water, and to ensure there are multiple layers to prevent children from freely accessing the water. It is truly a life or death issue. For more information regarding Arizona’s laws regarding pool fences, check out the following links:
